Dave's One Night Stand to return for a fourth series

A fourth series of Dave’s One Night Stand has been commissioned by the digital channel, Dave. The show follows comedians as they go back to their hometowns to perform a stand-up set, supported by other acts from the comedy circuit.

Episodes have already been filmed, with others due to be filmed in front of a live audience in theatres up and down the country. Last Friday saw the recording of Andrew Maxwell in Hackney Theatre; although this is against the premise of the show since Maxwell is Dublin-born.

Popular comedian Al Murray, under the guise of the Pub Landlord, will perform on Monday in London’s Shepherds Bush Empire – a few miles from his Hammersmith home. Mock the Week favourite Milton Jones will also record his in London.

Other headliners have been confirmed by Dave, and these include Patrick Kielty in Belfast and Angelos Epithemiou in Derby.
