What To Watch: 1/1/2012

Christmas is good for lots of things, but mainly for absolutely cracking TV. From the 19th December to the 1st January, we'll be giving you a daily report on what you should be watching.

Sherlock
8:10pm on BBC1
If you watch anything else today, you're mad. Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Lara Pulver bring Arthur Conan Doyle's classic stories into the modern day. Sherlock meets Irene Adler, the only woman who can ever best him. This may be the best thing that's going to be on TV in 2012, so make sure you catch it.
