Larry King bids farewell to CNN
US talk show host Larry King is to end his professional relationship with CNN. The legendary broadcaster presented his show Larry King Live on the channel for 25 years, but ended the series in 2010.
After he was replaced by Piers Morgan, he remained with the cable channel to host four specials, but it has been announced today that King and CNN have made the mutual agreement to part ways. During his last episode of Larry King Live, recorded in December 2010, he said that it was not a ‘goodbye’ but a ‘so long’.

His first appearance on CNN was for the first episode of the popular talk show which aired on June 3rd 1985 and ran for 25 years, becoming an integral part of CNN’s nightly line-up.
King has insisted that he has “nothing but respect for CNN” who helped forge his career, and is now "looking forward to all the wonderful business opportunities" ahead of him.
